It’s finally here; the season of getting cosy in bed, the days of Netflix binging and sipping on endless amounts of hot chocolate. I, for one, love this time of year because I am such a recluse and am a lover of the things I have just mentioned, so it’s perfect for me to be able to sit indoors, listen to the rain on the window and know that I don’t have to leave the house.
I’ve teamed up with Debenhams on their campaign to help with cosying up this winter and creating the perfect setting for your dark and cold nights. I’ve selected a couple of items from their new collection to make my evening as Hygge as possible.
Hello everyone! Happy Autumn and Happy September! (Can someone tell me why this bloody year is going so fast ???)
As it’s getting colder and layering is inevitable, I thought I would bring you guys the best jackets on the market.
I tried to bring different styles, ranging from parkas, to bombers and macs. I think it’s important to have a variety of jackets as the English weather is so erratic that it’s sometimes difficult to actually know what coat to throw on.
When it gets to Christmas time, picking that perfect scarf can be very difficult. So I’ve made it all a bit easier for you guys to see what is to offer out there and how much you have to spend to get one that will actually keep you warm.
There’s so many styles, colours and materials available that it makes it tricky to find the best one. My selection gives you the freedom to choose one that really suits you. Whether you want a snood, long and warm or short and fluffy, my list has it all.
A scarf is the perfect accessory for your outfit, come rain or shine! But you definitely need one this Christmas – go on, treat yourself!
If there is ever a brand you need to know, it’s Hymn.
After only being launched at the beginning of this year, they have well and truly established themselves in the fashion industry and have gained a pretty good reputation.
This collection sees them move away from the typical floral/nautical vibes we most certainly see in every Spring/Summer collection and head towards a classic look, with a very special Hymn twist.
They base their designs on the warm clothes everyone needs and wants for Winter, but adding their own spark with the print or pattern. Their stand-out pieces include a heavy lumberjack shirt (which sounds perfect), rich marls and cotton shirts – they are destined to fly off the shelves as soon as they are available to purchase. I know I will be buying them!
Ever since they started out, they’re commitment was to the creation of wearable clothing, whether it be wardrobe essentials or statements pieces. They uphold their dedication to produce and outstanding fit with effortless quality.
It takes a lot to create a collection where every piece is absolutely perfect, but Hymn seem to have done just that – winning over my heart once more and capturing the best of the season!
Oh, and they’ve had a helping hand from Ricki Hall, who, I’m sure, needs no introduction whatsoever.
Hello lovely people, I’m slowly getting back into regularly blogging and bringing you my view on the fashion world.
This time it’s all about the brand Anerkjendt, who I have written about before & am writing about them again because they are just so amazing.
They are another brand, just like Native Youth that I blogged about the other day, that fits exactly within my style.
This seasons sees them mix it up a bit, creating 3 different looks for the modern man.
Firstly, the delve into a more grungy, rock ‘n’ roll look, opting for dark colours and bold fabrics. Then, they look back in time to the Cowboys and Indians are for the more playful gent. And finally, they add a fun splash of patterns and colours in for good measure.
This collections reminds us the the brand certainly isn’t afraid of working with fabrics, layers and colours and just go with the motions and work with what they know (which is a lot considering how fantastic this season is!)
I’ve picked a few of my favourites from the collection, I hope you like them. Check out their website (www.anerkjendt.dk) for more and tell me your favourites too.
Here is the new collection from the Fashion God and it’s a stormer.
Every cut and angle and line is flawless and looks incredible on every man. He has really worked with the shape of the male and complimented every feature possible to win over the masses.
He has really evolved from his ’13 collection opting for a colour change and exploring more fabrics and materials. For example, he has included a lot of fur and knitwear this season which really stands out (and it’s practical for the Winter!)
I love the layout of the shoot, displaying a digital side and creativity that screams Gaultier!
Take a look for yourself and let me know which is your favourite – or, what you don’t like!
Today, in the football world, it is “Super Sunday”.
But in my world too, it’s super.
One reason is I have just reached 1,000 views on my blog. (Thanks to everyone that has viewed it and stuck with my boring posts)
Another reason is, it’s the first day of September. This is my favourite month as it’s when most things start. University. Winter (I love winter clothes and snow!)
The football aspect to this post wouldn’t usually be very important to me. But because my team (Liverpool) are playing our long rivals (Man U), I am slightly interested.
Me and my brother always clashed when our teams played and we still do, even though we don’t watch it anymore.
Anyways, might be going to the pub later to watch it. That’s how cool I am.
