Getting that perfect pair of shoes or boots is important for the purpose of your outfit and when I found TevaI knew that I had found a friend for life.
Whether you’re looking for a pair that take you clambering through the wilderness, battling the elements of the weather or simply strolling down the street, then the range from these guys will be sure to find a suitable match for you!
It’s April, hooray! And hopefully it will start to get warmer from now on. But you know British weather and how it likes to surprise us with torrential downpours and deadly blizzards.
Regardless, I thought I would bring you guys a summer wishlist – being super optimistic that the weather does actually start to get better and we can began wearing short sleeve tees and short shorts.
This wishlist comes entirely from Joules and their impeccable collection that deals with the basics, but with the guaranteed quality that we always look for.
Their range of clothing should be warmly welcomed into every person’s wardrobe as they resonate class and impeccable style.
Whether you’re opting for the casual tee or going a bit smarter with a collared shirt, Joules have you all sorted this summertime. Their range of tees would be a perfect addition to your suitcase for your holidays. And the shirts are ideal for those warm nights when you want to keep it “smasual” (yep, I’m making that happen!) if you’re going for a meal.
The brogues. I mean, do they even need any description? A man can never have enough smart shoes. Whether they are worn with a fresh pair of chinos or rocked with some shorts (oh, look, I’ve picked some out you!), your feet will be envied by all.
The phone case is just a little novelty item that I chose to try and tempt the weather to be a bit nicer, even if it doesn’t actually deliver.
And because you never know what will happen, Joules have you covered (literally) with their stunning range of coats. So if you want to throw something over your outfit that will practically save your life if it does rain, then you know where to look. They have rain macs, lightweight bomber jackets and quilted jackets to suit every mood.
So there you have it, my Summer Wishlist from Joules and their range of summer items.
Do let me know your opinions on the pieces I have chosen and especially if you have been inspired to make a purchase!
But for me, and many others, it reminds that it’s two weeks until LCM.
(That stands for London Collections: Men for the people that don’t know!)
Fashion Weeks have taken over and has often left the men in the dark. But over the past few years, men’s fashion has become increasingly popular and has become a date for your diary (it’s certainly in mine!)
Spring/Summer ’15 is a good year. I feel it. & I’m gonna be mentioning the 3 showroom collections I’m most excited for and why I am so anticipating a good season.
Lyle & Scott
Most of you would, and should in my opinion, know this brand as they been around for quite a while – 140 years to be precise – and have an established place within the fashion industry. For SS15, they have once again collaborated with Jonathan Saunders and Universal Works to launch exclusively at LCM. They promise to bring us new and exciting looks, working with colours, textures and shapes to help put that spring flair into your outfits.
This duo have always been a passion of mine. They have created collections that directly correlate with my style and it only seems right to mention them. Their eye for difference is effortless – the two designers have separate ideas which are then incorporated into the designs with such ease. For SS15, they opt for “clean lines and raw edges, a hint of athleticism with an elegant approach.”(This quote got me so excited!) They have also said that the white shirt is the highlight of their collection which is definitely a winner in my eyes.
Some of you may not have heard of Marwood before, so here’s a little introduction. They are an accessories brand that designs ties, bow ties, socks and scarves and apparently a special product for this season – eeeeek! They love to play around with colour palettes, designs and fabrics to create a completely unique twist on the modern mens accessory. It seems like they would appeal to every dapper man in history with their luxury materials and clean-cut styles to put that finishing touch to any gentleman.
So, there we have it, my favourites for LCM SS15 and the ones I think will be received the best.
Do you agree/disagree with me? What are your favourites? I’d love to know.
Alright, I know LCM is now over, and I have been rubbish with keeping up (I know, I’m stupid) but I just wanted to share my absolute favourite from the 3 day extravaganza.
Wow, what a collection. The trio really do not let you down when they show their collection.
I fell in love with them last year at LFW with their Sister by Sibling masterpiece.
And I just fell even more in love with them after their show earlier today!
Every single item was stunning. The mesh t shirts, denim waistcoats and striking shorts are sure to be seen out and about in the Summer of ’14.
The colours are perfect and really set you up for the sun (when this rain finally stops!)
And the models smile! This is my favourite aspect of their shows. Unlike the emotionless models of other fashion designers, they seem to be enjoying what their doing and smiling their way through it. I love this. It’s great to see something different on the catwalk.
Here’s a few of my favourites from the collection.
