Interiors: Monochrome Edit

Hi everyone! This is a new thing.

So I have decided that I want to start creating an interiors section on my blog because it is something that I am absolutely loving at the moment. If you follow me on any social media *all links at the top of the page*, then I’m sure you will have noticed that I’ve just gone absolutely mental for everything to do with interior design, textures and creative spaces. I am also in the process of completely redecorating my bedroom, transitioning it from a teenage boy’s playroom to an adult space where I can relax and write.

I want to share some of my favourite things that have caught my eye whilst decorating, hopefully giving everyone some inspiration too (because you never know when you have the urge to strip your walls down and change it up a bit!)

On reflection, I realise that I have created a monochromatic moodboard, which is pretty cool. Creating a base with black and white is a good starting point, like a blank canvas, where pops of colour can be added to brighten up the room. B&W is something I am really loving, in fashions and interiors, as it seems to be spot on trend at the moment – with inspiration for grayscale appearing everywhere!

I would love to hear your thoughts on this new type of post: what you would like to see and if this post interests you! Follow me on social media to see exactly what I’m getting up to (I am so into Pinterest at the moment which forms a basis for these type of posts):
