In the Iliad Hector is a trojan. Hector is the greatest warrior of Troy and the son of King Priam and Queen Hecuba. Hector goes to battle with the Achaeans. Helenus the seer of Troy tells Hector to go back to Troy to make a sacrifice to Athena. Hector goes to Troy and tells his mother to make an offering to Athena. They make an offering but Athena refuses to hear their prayers. While Hector is in Troy he meets Paris, who didn’t go to battle. Paris agrees to go back to the battle with Hector. Hector goes back to fight the Achaeans. Hector and Paris go into the battle and start fighting.

The Minoan Crete was a civilization who originated around the time 3600 to 1400 BC. The Minoans lived on the island of Crete located in the Mediterranean Sea. We didn’t know anything about the Minoan civilization until an archeologist named Sir Arthur Evans discovered the civilization. The Minoans were known for their art.
