I know exactly what you’re thinking. Summer is over. I know. But guess what? It’s still July so I’m gonna bring you my Summer fashion Essentials courtesy of New Look.*
I picked up and put together a couple of outfits that will still look good even when the weather is getting a little bit colder. That will probably be in a few weeks, but doesn’t that just mean we need to enjoy it while it lasts.
So I’ve teamed up with New Look to help you pick up the last minute best pieces for this season!
Let’s be honest, we’ve all been there. We’ve all got to that point in our lives where we question everything. Where we question what we’re doing, where it’s all heading and just get stuck – completely forgetting our destination in life. It happens to the best of us.
But it’s okay! It’s alright because we all have it. I think it’s part of growing up, part of discovering where you’re destined to be and part of creating our own path towards the life you are supposed to live.
I am a firm believer of everything happens for a reason so all of the events that unfold throughout our lives are just carving the way for a better and brighter future: we are all allowed to be happy, and I believe that the universe wants that for us, we just have to be brave enough to reach out and take it.
Sometimes, all it takes is just a little glimpse of rock bottom to spur you to get back on your feet and face the world with two fingers up. That’s ok. It’s all ok, I assure you.
What’s the first thing you think when you hear those words? I can almost guarantee that you immediately associate it with girls, myself included, but I can also assure you that it’s a problem for men too.
As someone that is constantly being told “You’re too skinny”, “Put on some weight” and “You’re just skin and bone”, it resonates right to my core when somebody says that body shaming doesn’t happen to men. Saying these comments might seem a little light-hearted and in good faith, but it’s truly amazing how much it has affected how I see myself.
It’s that time of year again – the day that singletons dread, the day that makes you want to avoid all social media, the day of the “boy/girl did good”s. But no fear, whether you’re buying for a significant other, a family member, or even yourself (go on, you know you want to), these gifts will suffice.
You know those times when people tell you to stop trying and you will never be disappointed? Well, that’s exactly that mantra that I’ve been living with at the moment and I honestly think I am a better person for doing so!
I am a firm believer in the proverb “Everything happens for a reason“, so learning to let go of the pressure and just get on with it has become something of the norm to me! I think by letting things go their own way is one of the most easy ways to live, letting nature take it’s course and leave life’s decisions down to fate.
It seems that every single week I am searching for something new to add to my grooming routine; whether it be tackling my sensitive skin, battling with my un-stylable hair or updating my aftershave pile, I am often surprised (and super delighted) when I find something that actually does good things.
This time around, I stumbled upon the Black Charcoal Wash “Magnetic Wash” from L’Oreal Men Expert which has completely revolutionised my grooming process in the morning – cutting it down half the time.
I know what you’re all thinking and, believe me, I think that Instagram has gone downhill since the algorithm too, but that only means that we need to step our game up to get our content bigger and better than it was before – who doesn’t want to improve?!
That’s why I wanted to give an insight into what I use to get my photos Instagram-worthy, because I am such a perfectionist and any old photo won’t do for me! I don’t consider myself a champ in any way so don’t take this as me sharing my wise words of wisdom, I just wanted to show how I get my pictures to a standard where they’re worth posting.
